Chalk Runner
Privacy policy
Last updated November 4, 2026
Chalk Runner doesn't collect any personal information. There are no accounts of ours, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the game works without an internet connection.
Who makes it
Chalk Runner is made by ProFactor, an independent developer. In this policy, "we" means ProFactor.
What stays on your phone
The game saves your level progress, stars, wardrobe, whether you've unlocked the full game, and settings (sound, music, vibration, left-handed mode) in the app's own storage on your device. That information never leaves your phone and we can't see it. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
Playing in a browser
The free demo at chalkrunner.app keeps the same things (progress, stars, wardrobe and settings) in your browser's own storage on your device. It uses no cookies and nothing in it is sent to us. The website is served by Cloudflare, which handles the network traffic needed to deliver the pages (such as your IP address) under its own privacy policy; we don't add analytics or tracking to the site.
What we don't do
- We don't ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos or anything else about you.
- We don't use advertising IDs, ad networks or analytics tools.
- We don't sell or share any data, because we don't have any.
Permissions
The Android app uses vibration for little bumps when he lands or gets hit (you can turn it off in Settings). The app framework also lists internet access. The game itself never uses it: the purchase and the leaderboards go through the Google Play or App Store apps on your phone, which need a connection for that.
Unlocking the full game
Chapter 1 is free. If you unlock the rest, you buy it through Google Play or the App Store, and Google or Apple handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details. The game asks the store whether your account owns the unlock and remembers the answer on your phone. The store may give us basic order records, such as an order number and country, so we can look after refunds.
Leaderboards
If you're signed in to Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iPhone and iPad), the game sends your best Endless run, your star count and what your runner is wearing to that service, so it can show them on the leaderboards. Google or Apple keeps those scores with your player name under its own privacy policy, and you control who sees your profile in the Play Games or Game Center settings. We don't run a server and don't receive your scores or player name. If you're not signed in, nothing is sent.
Children
Because the game collects nothing, it doesn't collect information from children either.
Changes
If this ever changes, for example if a future update adds something that needs data, we'll update this page and the date at the top before that update ships.
